Bought this for my kids' school library and it's already come back through my shelving cart twice -)
Young Captain Nemo is a great choice for kids who love adventure and want a fast-paced story. The action doesn't stop from beginning to end, but beyond that, it tackles harder issues, like the importance of truth, family, and what we can do to help the environment. Kudos to the author for the scenes introducing the Pacific garbage patch. And loved the nods to classic poetry that were tucked inside. Highly recommended!
After devouring Percy Jackson and Harry Potter, my 11-year-old 5th grader is on to his next seriesâ€”Young Captain Nemo. This book is the perfect adventure series for boys or girls who love to read. The chapter book is so full of exciting twists and turns and after reading it, my son told me all about what he learned about ocean conservation and submarines. We can't wait for the next book in this series!!!!
My 10 year old son loved it. He says it is action-packed, fast paced, and exciting!
